MASKED BY MODELS || Dead Sea Mud Magnetic Mask + Launch Party || #RivetReview

Jessica Earle is a model whose skin hasn't reacted well to many skincare products on the market. Jessica made it her mission to create a line of masking products that are suitable for sensitive skin, but still offer a bit of luxury in your life.

Image Description: Product flatlay and a stylised gold circle with white text that reads 'Masked By Models Launch Party #RivetReview'.

Masked By Models was born, and I got to share the launch with Jessica, her family and friends, and now I get to share this range with you!

Claytox Clay Masque || Alumina Silicate Sea Clay for Dry Skin || #RivetReview

I've never been a fan of clay based masques, because I have dry skin and they really just don't work for me, but after being contacted by Claytox, I was willing to give their product a go and was offered a full masque kit to trial.

I was actually really excited to try this – I wound up picking the Alumina Silicate Sea Clay which was recommended for dry skin, and I couldn't help but feel like Louis Litt during a mud session!

TESTING OUT $2.80 BEAUTY PRODUCTS || Daiso Cosmetics || #RivetReview

Korea and Japan are leaders in designing cosmetics. Every beauty trend we are seeing has been inspired in some way by these innovations. A lot of cosmetic manufacturing is done in Korean laboratories, too. Step in DAISO, a Japanese variety store that caters to the masses at an unbeatable price, with their own brand of beauty products.

I have never used any of Daiso's brand of cosmetics before; I've really only stuck to the home improvement, stationery and crafting supplies, and beauty accessories since discovering the store a few years back. I just didn't have faith in the brand's cosmetics because of cruelty free status and the ingredients + directions not being available in English. There were several recalls for personal care items in the past due to labelling, but it looks like the QC of Daiso Australia has brought this into line more recently.

#RivetEmpties Week - MASKS & TREATMENTS - August to December Empties!

#RivetEmpties Week

Day 2

This particular post felt that it was carrying its own weight to justify a separate post. Masks and treatments target specific conditions, whether they are pesky pimples, dullness & dehydration, and even make a wide array of claims, such as "oxygenating", "peeling" and "detoxfying". Ahh, got to love marketing.
