Mother's Day is coming up for us Aussies on the 14th May 2017, and Lush really deliver on the theme! If you know me from way back, I used to write solely about Lush products, so this is walking back to those times.

I was fortunate enough to attend the launch breakfast of this collection, so I present to you (no pun), some of Lush's Mother's Day goodies! All for me, too, because I have zero maternal instinct and Mum's really not into scented things!

THE LAUNCH
The launch breakfast took place at The Commons Local Eating House in Darlinghurst. We were served canapés, coffee, juices and LUSH experiences. The dazzling display of products and fresh flowers all over the venue perfectly summed up Mother's Day. New items were launched especially for this collection, and some will be joining the main collection!
Peta Granger, a director of Lush Australia/NZ, spoke about the sourcing of ingredients and their back stories, how Lush staff practice what they environmentally preach with reusable water bottles and Keep Cups, winning a "best packaging" award whilst having 70% of their products go without packaging, and their ethical standpoints on social justice issues for with which I also align.
We were also gifted a limited edition Knot Wrap with a few products from the collection!
