BellaBox 'Welcome to Wellness' Seasonal Subscription Box || #RivetReview

Australia has a very unique beauty market, but there are things missing; there aren't many beauty subscription boxes. BellaBox is the most well known, starting at $19.95AUD per month for a box of beauty products delivered monthly, and has also expanded into Men's Grooming (BelloBox) and Mum & Baby (BellaBaby) boxes.

The largest, most value packed box available is the seasonal 'Welcome to Wellness', which retails for $59.95AUD quarterly and offers $200AUD in value. The BellaBox team reached out to me to review this box, and I happily obliged!

WELCOME TO WELLNESS

This box was designed for self-care in mind. It contains products that not only span beauty, but also lifestyle, personal care, and health, with emphasis on natural, eco-friendly products.

BEAUTY

Jurlique Sweet Violet & Grapefruit Mist 15ml (sample size) - RRP $37.00AUD for 50ml

This versatile hydrating natural mist with floral and citrus notes can be used as a toner, makeup setting spray, or as a hydrating refresher during the day. The convenient travel sized bottle fits into your bag.

Note: Jurlique is not a cruelty free brand. Their products are sold in China where animal testing is required by law. I have passed this product on to somebody else to use.

Also note: All cosmetics from here on are cruelty free! WOO HOO!

Kohle Glow Bundle
Charcoal & Coconut Face Mask 100ml (full size) - RRP $36.95AUD
Charcoal Konjac Sponge - RRP $17.00AUD

This was the brand you could have received one of two options from, I received the Glow Bundle, and the other was a Smile Bundle containing a Charcoal Toothpaste and Toothbrush.

This mask, packed with charcoal, coconut oil, and kaolin clay, aims to improve skin hydration, curb breakouts, and deeply cleanse skin that has seen the brunt of city living. Recommended use is 2-3 times per week. The konjac sponge is infused with charcoal and can be used to remove the mask, plus gently exfoliate skin. It is a natural and eco-friendly alternative to using microfiber cloths.

My most recent breakout means I really want to get on the charcoal bandwagon!

Mary Grace - Bulgarian Rose Otto Face Elixir 30ml (full size) - RRP $35.00AUD

This facial oil contains luxurious rose otto essential oil, blended in with sweet almond, wheat germ, jojoba and rosehip carrier oils to create a serum that can be used alone as your moisturiser, or mixed in with face creams, and even to remove makeup. This kind of reminds me of my personal formula for facial oil!

Plunkett's Vita E - Pure Vitamin E Super Concentrated Oil 25ml (full size) - RRP $17.45AUD

Vitamin E is a component of many natural ingredients, but in its the form of dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate, it can be used directly on your skin to diminish the look of scars, and repair damaged skin. This little tube contains the antioxidant, plus extra rosehip oil to allow smooth application. I may keep this for adding into some of my little formulas!

Scentered Sleep Well Therapy Balm 1.5g (sample size) - RRP $29.95AUD for 5g

This little stick is packed with relaxing lavender and chamomile, and is tied in with notes of palmarosa, geranium, patchouli, clove, and ylang ylang, to assist your nighttime routine. I'm not huge on essential oils, but I guess since my nose has been sorted out (allergic rhinitis, do not recommend), I can probably handle these fragrances again.

.

LIFESTYLE/PERSONAL CARE

Footcare by Maseur - Ball of Foot Gel Cushion 2 pairs - RRP $8.99AUD

Going out and wearing heels can wear down your feet pretty quickly (this is why I don't own heels!). Protect and comfort your feet with these little gel cushions that fit discreetly in even the most minimalist heels! I know I'll be sticking some of these in my flats!

Megrhythm - Steam Eye Mask 2 pack (sample size) - RRP $7.50AUD for 5

These little eye masks from Japan self heat to sooth your eye area with the aid of steam in just 10 minutes. Sometimes, you have to let the blood flow! I got the yuzu/citrus scent, and I must say, it feels so good on the forehead. I may have to purchase some more!

Tsuno - Natural Bamboo Sampler Pack - RRP $6.10AUD for 10 Regular Pads, $5.80AUD for 10 Panty Liners

That time of the month, or in my case, the past several weeks, have seen me use really cheap and not-so-great-for-the-environment pads, but these change the game. They're made from bamboo, which grows really quickly and in almost any kind of environment, and provides fibers that can be used for textiles. These pads and panty liners are made from bamboo and corn fiber, and 50% of the profits from each pack sold are donated to One Girl, a charity focused on bringing education to girls in African countries.

HEALTH/FOOD/DRINK

BellaBox - Reusable Bamboo Travel Cup (full size) - RRP $30.00

I didn't realize that bamboo was a material that could be used to make things like cups (the more you know). This travel cup is huge, it honestly looks like it fits about 2 cups of coffee in it. The silicone lid and grip make this cup easy to hold and drink from, while being super easy to clean (unlike those plastic ones that never dry).

Blue Dinosaur - Passionfruit Super Bites 30g (full size) - RRP $3.95AUD

If you think this little bite still exists, it doesn't. It's gone. I ate it. It was delicious. Oh my god, it was delicious!

Image description: Flatlay with the Remedy, Global Nature, Blue Dinosaur, and Bellabox coffee cup with the information card.

Global Nature - Pure Natural Collagen Booster 30g (full size) - RRP $39.95AUD

This amorphous silica supplement can be added to any drink or food to help boost collagen production. I don't think I'll be using it quite yet, or at all as I don't really think that it would have any benefit for me. I may pass it on.

Remedy Drinks - Coconut Water Kefir Passionfruit 330ml (full size) - RRP $4.50AUD

This didn't last long at all. It was NOT what I was expecting at all. I don't like kombucha, there, I said it! This isn't kombucha. This tasted like a coconut and passionfruit Calpis Soda (the Japanese yoghurt drink). It was so refreshing and I need to get my butt down to IGA to buy more.

.

TOTAL VALUE

After some quick calculations, the total value of this box (with samples taken into account) came to $218.02 AUD. The box itself is $59.95 per quarter and claims you get up to $200 value. I think they outdid themselves on the value!

THOUGHTS?

Overall, I enjoyed the food/drink type items, and I need to have a play with the cosmetics. All in all, it's a nice little box to try new things that span outside of just beauty. I like it!
