A slight delay (life
got in the way) made this a little difficult to get up within a
reasonable time frame, but fret not, part three is here! Still rather
poor writing on my part, but progress is a journey.

Convenience in a roll-on! |
RosehipPLUS Roll On
Rosehip Oil Instant Hydrator [Gift]
Original Review:
“The RosehipPlus roll on rosehip oil instant hydrator is my new
in-car bestie. On the road, I can't always get to a moisturizer, so I
have this on hand in the side pocket (away from the elements) to give
my skin a boost when it gets dry. Definitely pick this up for on the
go. It's convenient and works wonders. A #SpoonieBeauty* must have!”
*
#SpoonieBeauty is a hashtag used for beauty with chronic illnesses.
Any new thoughts?
It's actually really
convenient to have this Rosehip Oil as a roll on! This was really
great to use around my cuticles. It's still sitting in my car as I'm
writing this (time to dispose of it). I kept it stored in the door
compartment, along with other lip products and hand sanitizer, so it
was never in direct contact with the sun.
Until we meet again, my love. |
Elemis Pro-Collagen
Cleansing Balm [Gift]
Original review:
“It starts off as a balmy texture, and turns into almost a lather
when water is added. It rinses off like a soap. It gets makeup off
with no problem and cleanses so gently, that it leaves you wondering
whether you had used anything at all. It does have a fragrance, close
to a mix of essential oils used in a spa massage treatment (of
course, Elemis is a spa line!) I have previously received a sample
that I got one use out of, but I wasn't too sure about it because of
that single use, but after TVSN gifted myself (and my Mum) the set
(with the day and night creams), I had been given an opportunity to
really fall in love with this cleanser.”
Any new thoughts?
This is one of the
nicest cleansing balms I have used. I recently used up the second jar
and now I'm sad that I don't have any more (I have way too many
products in my backlog to write about).
Can't take micellar love away! |
Swisse Micellar Water
Makeup Remover [Purchase]
Original Review:
“I've mentioned and used this in my videos, but it never got an
actual review. The Swisse Skincare Micellar Water makeup remover
smells like cucumbers. It effortlessly removes makeup (including
waterproof mascara), sometimes can sting eyes, mostly doesn't, and
pretty much takes everything off. I use it to clean my makeup
brushes, when I do intricate eye looks (i.e. clean up eyeliner and
shadow fallout), gloopy bits of mascara smudges, and it's so gentle,
you don't need to worry about irritation. However, I find it may
irritate my skin sometimes if I use a lot of product, usually when I
take off my makeup, so a good cleanse after will neutralise that. All
in all, great product and super affordable.”
Any new thoughts?
I haven't really used
any other micellar water. This is the only one I use. It's the first
one I had heard of, and it's the best, in my opinion.
Smells like a spa. |
Elemis Pro-Collagen
Marine Cream [Gift]
Original Review:
“I posted about the Elemis balm cleanser and kit I was gifted by
TVSN, and this is the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream moisturiser. It is a
beautiful, lightweight day cream that smells like the ocean (or at
least what you would imagine the ocean to smell like in a spa), and
does a good job of moisturising without evaporating into thin air. My
skin is thirsty and inflamed, but it loves this cream.”
Any new thoughts?
I'm on my second one, I
keep it in my bag. My skin really feels nourished and it's as lovely as ever. I really enjoy the
fragrance.
Getting better at writing, but
still far off.
